Baloch are at the crossroads of history today.
Historical events and injustices of the last century forced their France-sized homeland to be incorporated into Pakistan and Iran. The two states, which promote religious fundamentalism, have no regard for human rights and democratic values.
Through concerted, persistent, and organized efforts, Pakistan and Iran have brought the Baloch people to a point where their existence is in imminent danger. Their language and culture are on the brink of extinction, and their economic resources are being ruthlessly exploited for the benefit of Islamabad and Tehran. As stateless people, they have been marginalized to such an extent that their socio-political influence is non-existence in state institutions of Pakistan and Iran.
Despite tremendous sacrifices offered by the Baloch masses, their dream of salvation is still illusive.
The absence of a proper, feasible strategy and lack of collaboration among different stakeholders in the Baloch resistance, and the lack of international support, have further contributed to the never-ending miseries of the Baloch people.
Baloch Diaspora in the United States has for a long time, felt the need for an organization to highlight the never-ending human rights violations in their ancestral Balochistan, to draw attention to the national question of the Baloch in international forums, and to debate, discuss and analyze the problems the Baloch people face today threadbare.
