The Baloch American Congress (BAC) Monday profusely thanked U.S. lawmakers for pushing to designate Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism and opposing the posting of Pakistan’s new ambassador to the United States.
“The American lawmakers who have called for designating Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism and opposing the posting of Mansoor Khan as Pakistan’s new ambassador in Washington DC have done the right thing. For far too long, Pakistan army and Inter-Services Intelligence have befooled the U.S. government,” said Dr. Tara Chand, president of the BAC.
He said the Pakistan army and intelligence agencies’ brutalities in Balochistan were clear proof of Pakistan’s state terrorism on the hapless Baloch people.
“Thousands of Baloch patriots have been forcibly disappeared and their families have been weeping and beating chests on the roads and streets across Pakistan, without any relief.
Dr. Tara Chand recalled that the deep state of Pakistan was fully exposed when an international terror mastermind, Osama bin Laden, was found living next door to the Pakistan Military Academy in Abottabad.
Dr. Tara Chand appreciated the forts of U.S. lawmakers, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Greg Steube of Florida and Mary E. Miller of Illinois wanted Pakistan to be put on the list as state sponsors of terrorism alongside Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.
“If one looks closely, Pakistan has harmed the U.S. more than Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria. With its fastest-growing nuclear arsenal, Pakistan poses the greatest threat to world peace,” Dr. Tara Chand, a former government minister in Balochistan, said.
The U.S. lawmakers had opposed the posting on Mansoor Khan as he is a darling of the infamous I.S.I. Dr. Tara Chand said the Pakistan military and I.S.I. are carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity.
“Pakistan generals used to call U.S. and N.A.T.O. soldiers posted in Afghanistan as chocolate boys and a former deceased chief of the I.S.I., who was The Godfather of the Taliban had on record said the future historian will write that the I.S.I. had defeated the U.S. in Afghanistan with American dollars.”
Dr. Tara Chand urged the U.S. government to ask Islamabad to free thousands of Baloch activists languishing in I.S.I.
